Alpari Is On Its Way to Mount Elbrus

Publication Date: September 6, 2012

Dear Clients,

The Team from the Alpari Office Looks Like It's Ready to Go

Team Alpari is heading out to the Caucasus Mountains for Stage V of “Alpari: On Top of the World”. There they will attempt the twin-peaked Mount Elbrus which, at 5,642 meters in height, is Europe’s highest mountain. Joining Lyudmila Korobeshko and Co. will be a team of 12 Alpari employees led by Andrey Dashin and Andrey Vedikhin.

Our climbers may have different reasons for making the climb, but they are united by a common credo: “Onwards and upwards!” Our 12-man team is made up mainly of novice climbers who will need to learn the ropes of mountain climbing as they go. For some, Elbrus is merely one step towards conquering the world’s highest peaks. For others the expedition is the chance to experience something new and exciting with a group of friends and colleagues. Andrey Dashin, Chairman of the Alpari Supervisory Board, sees things a little bit differently. For him, the mountains are a proving ground: “Under stress, people are exposed for what they really are. When there is no time and no need for pretense, a person shows their true self. You can hold all of the corporate training programs you want, or you can just head to the mountains. It will quickly become apparent what people are really worth.”

For each of our employees, climbing Elbrus with a group of experienced climbers – Lyudmila Korobeshko, Ivan Dusharin and Maxim Shakirov – should prove to be an experience they won’t soon forget.

You can follow Team Alpari on the Alpari-Life site. There you’ll find audio, video and photos as well as regular updates from our team.

Best Regards,
Alpari
