1st place – Andrey Selin, prize: 1,000 USD.
Portfolio: Randoms 2.0
Hello Andrey! Tell us a little bit about yourself, have you been investing for long?
I first encountered the Forex market in 2011, and spent a long time reading all the available literature on the subject. I finally took up independent trading and investing in 2016.
Why did you choose to invest with Alpari and why did you decide to take part in this competition?
I did a lot of research on Forex brokers, looking at ratings from various websites, as well as client reviews. When I found Alpari, I liked the services on offer as well as the availability of all different kinds of bonuses and special offers. The prize money offered in the competition was my main reason for participating in it. After all, profit is the reason that we’re all here!
What was the most important criterion for you in selecting the PAMM accounts for your portfolio?
A stable monthly income with minimal leverage used. I also avoided relatively young accounts.
Have you changed the composition of your portfolio much, or is your success down to a consistent selection of managers?
This is the second PAMM portfolio that I’ve made, for which I decided to keep the most reliable managers (according to my criteria) and stick with them to the end.
Did you attract any new investors during the competition round? How did it affect your work?
Public offers were disabled while I was taking part in the competition; I wanted to test out the portfolio without any interruptions.
Are you planning to continue your work with this portfolio and to attract new investors?
Yes, now that this competition round is over, I’ll be looking to attract some new investors.
What advice would you give to investors who are just starting out?
Be wary of accounts with particularly high profits and don’t aim to make your own profits at lightning speed.
2nd place – Aleksey Bagrintsev, prize: 500 USD.
3rd place – Vladislav Tkachev, prize: 300 USD.
Those who want to show off their investment skills and try for the top prize of 1,000 USD can take part in the next round. You can find more information about the competition on our website.
Once again, we congratulate the winners and wish all the participants the best of luck in the next round!
