A Loss is a negative outcome from a trading operation or trade which, depending on the scenario: leads to a fall in the volume of funds invested in the financial instrument; losses exceed profits; or there is a total loss of deposit funds. The term loss in the context of trading on financial markets is usually applied to any lossmaking trade or operation.
