How do I trade Fix-Contracts using bonus funds?

Two wallets will be created for your alpari.fix-contracts account in the Fix-ContractsTrader: one for your own funds and one for bonus funds received from converting points. When you trade, funds will firstly be debited from the bonus wallet.

Trading examples:

  1. 1

The Fix-Contract closes with a positive outcome. You exchange bonus points for 1,000 USD. You also have 1,000 USD of your own funds. You open a trade totalling 100 USD (bonus funds are debited) with a 45% payout. The contract closes with a positive outcome for you and you receive 45 USD which is credited to the wallet which contains your own funds. The 100 USD bonus funds are then wiped. As a result, the wallet containing your own funds totals 1,045 USD and the wallet containing your bonus funds totals 900 USD.

  2. 2

The Fix-Contract closes with a negative outcome. Let's say that, under the conditions above in example one, your trade outcome is negative. In this case, the 100 USD bonus funds are wiped and you receive no payout. As a result, the wallet containing your own funds totals 1,000 USD and the wallet containing your bonus funds totals 900 USD.

  3. 3

The Fix-Contract closes at the opening price. Let's say that, under the conditions above, your trade outcome is all evens. In this case, the 100 USD bonus funds are wiped and you receive no payout. As a result, the wallet containing your own funds totals 1,000 USD and the wallet containing your bonus funds totals 900 USD just as in example two.
