Hello Aleksey. Could you tell us a little about yourself and how long you have been investing for?

I’m 32 years old and work in the legal field. I became interested in investing in 2011. At first, I started with stock markets and then got into PAMM Accounts. I studied how they work, analysed them and gained experience. In 2015 I opened my public PAMM Portfolio.

Why did you choose to work with Alpari and how did you come to taking part in the contest?

I’ve known Alpari for a long time and it is with this company that I started working with PAMM Accounts. The decision to take part in the contest was a no-brainer: I received an invitation in myAlpari and I had already been managing PAMM Portfolios for a year and so was confident in my skills.

What is the main criterion when choosing PAMM Accounts for your portfolio?

At first, I diversified widely and I had a lot more managers in my portfolio: around 10-12. Amongst them were those who apply high-risk trading strategies. As practice has shown me, over the long run (and my portfolio is a long-term one) this is a losing strategy. So now I use a different strategy in my portfolios (I have two: one denominated in dollars and the other in roubles): trusting only dependable and confident traders in any market climate. When I say dependable, I mean traders with a trading strategy that doesn’t depend on the current market conditions and those that observe their declaration.

During the contest, you started attracting investors. Did this have any effect on your work?

I don’t have many investors in my portfolio at the moment, with the main investor being me, with the significant amount of free funds I’ve invested. I hope that after this interview is released the number of investors will start rising! As such, two or three other investors had no effect on my approach and trading results.

What plans do you have for the future? Are you planning to continue working with portfolios and attracting investors?

Of course, I plan to continue working, achieving a stable profit and making a reputation for myself. I plan to create a small site and free video course in which I will explain the advantages of my PAMM Portfolio to potential investors. I also want to compile a small manual for inexperienced users about how to open an account, make deposits, etc. The main thing, though, is to achieve stable and relatively high returns; this is undoubtedly the biggest motivation for me.

What advice would you offer up to novice investors?

Constantly look to develop, learn, examine and try to put your knowledge into practice. Also work hard on improving, regularly putting away any part of your returns and creating your own investment capital right from today. Start thinking about your future right now!
