This honor belongs to all of us. I would also like to thank Anatoliy Grigorevich Gavrilenko for his generosity and words of wisdom, which have been a big help to us", commented Mr. Petrov at the awards ceremony.

First handed out in 2001, the "Person of the Year" awards have continued to be a prestigious recognition of individuals who have made many of the most significant contributions to Russia's financial and political sectors.

Winners are determined by an expert committee consisting of widely recognized authoritative figures in the Russian business and political world. This year's panel included Constitutional Court lawyer Mikhail Barshchevsky, businessman Viktor Vekselberg and economist and Assistant to the President of the RF Arkady Dvorkovich.
